  Urgent one day meeting in Britain ,do you know it was about ?

  yestarday all our elders were invited to a one day meeting urgently .i know they had their elders meeting few months ago .does anyone know what it was about .i heard from the grapevine that among other issues disgussed was a)how to deal with disfellowshipped ones and, b) how to offer councel to fellow elders .any elder attended this meeting in britain please feel free to share some info.

  I wonder if it's got to do with inactive ones. All of a sudden us and now another family from another hall who doesn't go have recieved phone calls asking if we're coming back. If they were to df then bring it on. We got four phone calls yesterday but would not pick up. Why now after not one phone call in NINE STINKIN MONTHS?????????????????????????????

  if i say no will i get df'd?

  we have not gotton any phonecalls or visits but a text message asking if we are coming back.

  I wouldn't be sooo hard to do that Jam except I have a couple of relatives that are in and I have the most awesome hairdresser who is one as well. Good hairdressers are hard to find. LOL.

  Mouthy, I will keep a down low like you say. Yesterday I was at a store and the two girls working behind the counter was a gal I had studied with for a year and a half and beside her was a witness. The witness was from another hall and had heard I was gone and asked if she could help me with anything. I told her what I took it up in prayer and this is the path Jehovah is leading me and have to listen to him. (thank you Jw net) She started to cry and I thought what the,,,,

  Please Mouthy be patient with me for I have a trust factor that I have to work on but you will meet with me soon. It stems from when I was a kid and coming back into the religion made it worse. I love you guys for all your help and feel more closer to you guys whom I have never met than the ones who were standing in front of me at the hall and looking past me while I'm talking to them.

  With all these wild animals roaming around, did you make sure they made it to their vehicle alright? I would have walked them back to their car and given the driver proper crap or kept the girls at your house and called the cops. This is serious shit! They are the real victims forced to do something that is lifethreatening

  we've missed some meetings due to work and thinking it's bs and also one night my husband got drunk n fessed up n had a shepherding call n now the e is coming to see 'how we're doing'.

  help me please i dunno what to do..

  Hey leaveing_quietly, Maybe these scriptures can make you feel better ! Corinthian 4:5 and 1 Corinthians 13:9,10. Just saying untill those two witnesses come in Revelation chapter eleven and do all those things which haven't happened yet, and then when they do come we have three and a half years to shape up and then Jesus comes and gives us that abundance of knowledge where he turns darkness into light. You know, that abundance of knowledge that every other religion is roving the earth for. Until then, keep reading the bible and following his commandments which were not burdensome.

  Was a born-in and had to leave home at fifteen, never knowing the religion that well. Just remembered the resurrection and wanted to know more about it since I had a brother who died at eleven. I was a year older than him when he fell down two stairs and cracked his head open. A year later he died at Sick Childrens Hospital. Almost thirty years later thought I would try it and saw everything Blondie saw but the final crunch was JW NET! Thank you ;)

  Hey Splash,

  we've got two soft covered bibles where one has the backets in and the other bible has the brackets out on that very scripture at Romans 6:7. Same wording but now has different meaning. And to think it was just a push of a button on the computer and god's will is done. These uneducated ones have come along way, wouldn't you guys say?

  companions and carers.

  yesterday i had the duty of care to take our feline companion of 20 years to the vet to be euthanized.. i took a tin of his fav tuna and gave him a last meal at the vets to settle him as the needle and medication did its work.. he died peacefully and in no pain.

  my wife and i buried him in the garden next to a another older moggie.. i had the duty to email this sad news to the family who have largely grown up with him.. i sat in my back room and cried bitterly.

  i will miss him terribley and his head rubbs him checking on me once i was in bed and all his ways.. sleep well..... time for another cry..

  I am truly sorry for your loss. We never had children and our pets are our kids. I know how your feeling for in the past we've had to put down afew dogs (old age or sickness) and it never gets any easier. One is buried out by the ponds and the other is under the big old apple tree in the orchard. My heart goes out to you. I've never gone without an animal, for me it's a security thing letting me know there's someone out there that needs me besides my husband.

  If you were to ask my husband, my pets are the first to get their kisses of the day, their the first to get their breakfasts and walks. They are allowed to fart and burp and I think it's cute. They get away with so much. I feel soooo sorry for my husband but that's just the way it is.

  And after I'm done with the pets then I have to tend to the birds, chipmunks, coons, rabbits and squirrels that come every day and night for their little feedings. I hate death! I feel so bad for you
